EKRA realizes innovative print systems with multiple extension options for any kind of requirement

EKRA faces demanding tasks in the high-volume production with the SERIO 5000. With a print repeatability of ± 20 µm @ 6 Sigma and a cycle time of seven seconds the printer fulfills the needs of the automotive sector. All EKRA printers base on a platform concept, thus the SERIO 5000 as well. Consequently, it could be equipped with variable options and features and be flexibly customized to individual needs. In the back to back configuration the SERIO 5000 reaches optimal outputs at compact floorspace.

Thanks to the back to back positioning it is possible to produce on two lanes: two printers could operate simultaneously and independently, the production becomes more flexible. In the Quad Lane version the system achieves maximum throughput rates. Therefore four SERIO 5000 are placed back to back. These two dual lane systems are installed in series. This allows two individual substrates to be simultaneously processed on the two individual tracks. The first substrate passes the first printer and it is processed in the second printer.
